Craven Deer Processing is a NCDA inspected facility. Deer have to be skinned and gutted to be processed between opening day of bow season until the day before muzzleloading season. There is just not enough demand for this service at this time of the year. During this time drop off hours are from 8am-5pm Mon-fri. From the opening day of muzzleloader season until the last day of the regular season deer drop off hours are from 8am-8pm Mon-friday, Saturday 9am-8pm. These times may change before the regular gun season comes in so either watch the website or call us for the latest times. If there is a high demand for a later drop off time than 8pm we may increase our hours.

FULL SERVICE PROCESSING-$75
This service includes Skinning, gutting and processing to your specifications. No need to have to figure in time after the hunt to skin and gut anymore. At such a busy time of year it makes deer hunting a lot more enjoyable when you know that deer will not keep you from your job, family time and get togethers anymore.

This service is offered to our customers if you have already skinned, gutted and quartered the deer and bring it to us. If the deer is not quartered there is a additional $5 breakdown charge.

Craven Deer Processing is a NCDA inspected facility. We have NCDA inspectors here on a weekly if not daily basis. Your deer is your meat and we keep it that way. Each deer that comes in is put into a food grade container with your name, address and phone number and what cuts you prefer attached to it. Deer are NOT mixed with other deer to assure that what you get is exactly what you brought in. No coolers, bags, boxes or any other items are to be left on the premises. Any containers WILL be disposed of and a surcharge of $5.00 will be added to your bill to cover the disposal cost. A hose will be provided to rinse out your coolers upon departure. We offer hamburger, steaks, cube steaks, roasts, stew meat and sausage. If there is a particular cut you prefer please tell us at check in. All deer will be wrapped in butcher paper and frozen before you pick it up. We will call you once it is frozen and you will have 3 days to pick up your meat to avoid storage fees. Storage charges are $5.00 a day starting on day 4 until you pick it up or when 1 week as went by from day 4. After that point it will be disposed of properly and a bill of $35.00 plus processing fees will be sent to your address. Deer may be picked up 8am-5pm Mon-Fri.
